Mental Health Provider Awards Program

You & Your Brain funds qualified therapists and prescribers through its Provider Awards Program. During his work in multiple treatment settings, Dr. Whisenhunt identified institutional funding as an insurmountable limiting factor for mental healthcare. There would never be enough government resources to provide high quality mental healthcare to all people in all places. Dr. Whisenhunt was inspired by other for-profit companies that invested significant portions of their earnings to worthy causes, i.e. shoes and socks. Through innovative product design and business practices, such companies channeled resources from voluntary customers to people in need. Dr. Whisenhunt believed there was a growing market for psychedelically, psychologically, and scientifically inspired products and apparel that could do the same for mental healthcare. 

You & Your Brain's Provider Awards Program funds qualified mental health professions working with underserved populations. Providers often carry heavy debt. Such limitations force many providers to pursue competitive wages to maintain their individual financial solvency. Through the Provider Awards Program, healers can receive competitive wages while treating all people. The purchases of YYB's directly fund the awards, which are distributed quarterly.
